At Ron Storme's Nightclub in Stepney, East London |

We started the evening getting ready at The Tower Thistle, our favourite hotel in London. After glamming up, we just take the lift (elevator to all our US readers) and walk out through the hotel foyer. We used to feel all eyes upon us, but now I think they've just got so used to us that no-one takes any notice. |

Earlier in the day, we'd been shopping in Taurus, a WONDERFUL shop in the West End where they stock all sorts of glamorous clothing - it's used by several well known STARS of stage and screen, and….. if it's good enough for them, then it's good enough for us <g> .. |

Fiona had bought this FABULOUS pink creation, pictured here before we left our room and on the way down to the foyer. |

It was time to party. Fiona was called out on to the dance floor by Tom Jones lookalike, Ian Leigh, and it was dance, dance, dance… |

The evening ended all too soon…… both Fiona and I were selected for the Diva competition, and it was Fiona, who walked away with the prize for the evening, a lovely bottle of Storme's finest champagne. Aaaaahhh…. |
